Of the many terms Bentley used to describe snowflakes, perhaps the most endearing was “Snow Beauties” of which he titled an article first published in 1910 for Technical World Magazine. Inspired by the many montages Bentley created in his lifetime, each panel in the collection shows 12 snowflakes of varied structure and design. Displayed roughly in temperature order (coldest top row, warmest bottom row), the “Snow Beauties” Collection documents the wonderful and infinite beauty of nature’s tiny creations. Double matted (white on white) and framed in American made, accented black wood frame or available just matted (fits standard 11x14 frame). Prints include a Bentley fact/Certificate of Authenticity and a reprint of Bentley’s 1910 article "Snow Beauties".
